Angelo Babbaro is the real deal. He’s a student of Frank Sinatra. Of the more than 2,000 songs Frank recorded, Angelo can sing over 1,800 of them note for note with such accuracy that you’d think it was Frank himself. Close your eyes, put on his album and try to tell the difference. I dare you. It can’t be done. He’s got the act down cold except instead of hailing from New Jersey, Angelo is from Youngstown, Ohio.

In a lot of ways, Angelo could be considered a nostalgia act, if that weren’t meant in a derogatory sense. There are lots of guys who think a suit, a shiny old-school mic, someone to tickle the ivories and a martini is all it takes to recreate the rat pack heyday. A quick search around YouTube will sate your thirst for schlocky lounge acts forever.

Angelo is a cut above. A self admitted Frank Sinatra addict, he puts in at least six hours a day honing his craft.
